HUNDSTEIN

The Hundstein cycle is one of the longest and probably the most demanding mountain bike tour in Zell am See. With a total of 40 kilometers (there and back) and an altitude difference of 1340 meters. Firstly, you cycle from Zell am See to Thumersbach along the Zell am See lake. From Thumersbach, the route goes uphill on an asphalt road to just below the ENZIANHÜTTE. Shortly before the hut, the MTB route begins on the Hundstein mountain. If you want to recharge your batteries before the strenuous and long climb, we advise a stop in the rustic Enzianhütte. At the summit, a hosted hut awaits you at the Statzerhaus with a fantastic view.
